What happened
Arrested on January 8, 2026 by Islamic Republic agents and transferred to Evin prison. He contacted his family from prison saying he was fine and that they had asked for money for his release. After torture and suffocation, he was killed by direct shooting from Islamic Republic agents (fatal shot above the ear). His body was returned to the family after two weeks. He was buried in Behesht Zahra on his birthday.
