What happened
Shot directly from behind in the head with a sniper rifle by Islamic Republic forces at Tamaddon Bridge (Imamzadeh Street). His father was also wounded at the same location by a bullet to the thigh, requiring hospitalization for a week and two surgeries due to severe injuries (damage to pelvis and knee). Masoud's body was returned to family after 6 days and buried in Bagh-e Rezvan Cemetery in Isfahan next to his mother.
