What happened
Kurdish young man from Salmas who was injured and arrested by security forces during protests on 18 Dey (January 8, 2026) in Tehran. His body was returned to family after 12 days on 30 Dey (January 19, 2026) without any explanation from security institutions. It remains unclear whether he died from severity of gunshot wounds or was killed under torture after arrest.
