What happened
Powerlifting champion who was shot in the leg by security forces on January 8, 2026 in Shahroud. He fled the hospital fearing arrest and took refuge at his mother's house. On January 12, executioners raided the house and killed him with a shot to the head in front of his mother's eyes. His brother Navid Golsarkhi was also arrested at the same time.
