It searches the same record as this website, where every name is linked to the list or report that recorded it. Other spellings, Persian or Latin, are found too.

Age, town and date, the first lines of their story, how strong the evidence is, and a link to their page. If the name is not there, it tells you how to send what you know.
What the answers mean

Safety and privacy
- YadNam answers only from what is already public on this website. Nothing you send is published by itself: our team checks every piece of information first.
- Our team sees the names people ask about, and the username if there is one, so we can find people who are still missing from the record. We never publish who asked.
- A post on X is public. If asking could put you or a family at risk, ask in a private chat on Telegram, or search this website.
- YadNam never asks for a password, money, your phone number or where you are. The only official accounts are @Yadnambot on Telegram and @yadnambot on X.

Is a person answering?
No. YadNam answers by itself, day and night. What you send with /send is read by our team.
The name was not found. What now?
Try the other spelling, Persian or Latin, or the full name as the family writes it. If the person is still missing, send us what you know: on Telegram with /send, or on this website.
Why did it not answer me on X?
It answers posts that mention it and contain a name. Posts without a name get no reply, and neither do many posts from one account within an hour. When X is busy, a reply can take a little longer.
Does it cost anything?
No. It is free, with no ads and no sign-up.
Why the name YadNam?
