Based on interviews with several recently released detainees aged 18 to 32 from different cities and detention facilities, Hengaw reported on 8 February a consistent pattern of sexual, physical and psychological abuse to extract confessions, the use of female interrogators to humiliate young male detainees, threats of execution, mock trials and summary court sessions held days after arrest.
