Amnesty International said verified videos and eyewitness accounts from 10 cities in Alborz, Gilan, Kermanshah, Razavi Khorasan, Sistan and Baluchestan and Tehran showed a coordinated nationwide escalation of lethal force from the evening of 8 January, including direct fire without warning in Razavi Khorasan and killings in Kermanshah, Eslamabad-e Gharb and Gilan-e Gharb.
