Branch 15 of Tehran's Revolutionary Court, headed by Judge Abolqasem Salavati, sentenced Mehdi Nazer and his fiancée Mahnaz Chardoli to death and 10 years in prison, and Mehdi Nazer's sister Atefeh Nazer to 10 years. The three were arrested in Tehran on 11 January 2026. Hengaw also reported the sentences on 20 July.
