Fares (Mohsen) Agha-Mohammadi, shot in the head, and boxer Mohammadreza Karami, both wounded by IRGC fire in Malekshahi on 3 January, died in the ICU of Khomeini Hospital in Ilam on 5 January. Their funerals the same day saw anti-government slogans, KHRN reported.
