Qorveh shopkeeper who joined strike sentenced to a year and 31 lashes

Hazhir Yaghoubi, a Kurdish shopkeeper in Qorveh arrested for joining a local business strike and demonstrations in January, was sentenced by a criminal court to one year in prison and 31 lashes, Hengaw reported on 2 September.
