Abbas Yavari, 31, arrested at the January protests in Shiraz, was moved from Adel Abad prison to an unknown location on 26 March and his family was told of his death on 29 March. Officials called it suicide; a source told IHRNGO he died of torture aimed at forcing confessions to killing Basij agents.
