Sabzevar's sports department, on judicial orders, revoked the gym licence of powerlifting coach Rouhollah Nasiri, uncle of Mojtaba Karabi who was shot in Tehran in January, and sealed his workplace, Iran International reported on 17 April. Nasiri had earlier been arrested after Karabi's 40th-day memorial in Sabzevar and spent 20 days in Torbat-e Heydarieh prison, accused of reciting Shahnameh verses against the Islamic Republic to incite unrest.
