Branch 9 of the Supreme Court overturned the death sentences of Shahab Zohdi, Abolfazl Salehi Siavashani and Yaser Rajaeifar, January 2026 protest detainees held in Ghezel Hesar, and sent the case back to Tehran's Revolutionary Court for retrial, HRANA reported. Judge Abolqasem Salavati had sentenced them to death.
