Pedram Argha, a Yarsan dentist, was shot twice by IRGC forces outside his workplace in Kermanshah's Maskan neighbourhood after stepping in when an officer was beating a protester, and later died. Release of his body was conditional on calling him Basij; at his funeral on 12 January his father said the label was forced.
