If someone you loved is named in this archive, they are not a row or a statistic here. They had a life. No database can record that fully.
We try to publish only what is accurate, respectful, and as close as possible to what the family wants public. If something is wrong, tell us. If you have a fuller name, an age, a city, a date, a photograph or a stronger source, send it. If you do not want a photograph or a detail to be public, you can ask for that part to be removed. If you want the whole page hidden, that request is reviewed.
You decide
- Correct a fact. A wrong name, age, city, date or account.
- Add a photograph. Only a photograph of that person, and only if you have the right to publish it.
- Add a source. A news report, a notice, a gravestone, or another public document.
- Remove or hide. A photograph, one detail, or the whole record.
Your safety matters more than a complete archive
If you are inside Iran, do not put yourself at risk to help this project. Do not send your own name, a phone number, a home or work address, a login, or a picture that shows where you are, unless you already understand that risk.
What we do not ask for
- Proof of a family relationship on a public page
- Your name or contact details, published
- A political statement about the person who was killed
- That you accept our wording over the family’s
If we do not know, we say we do not know. If we were wrong, we correct it. If a family asks for sensitive information to be hidden, safety and dignity come before a complete archive.
