Détenus en lien avec les manifestations de janvier
Parsham Parvas, a businessman living in Tehran who was born around 1975, was arrested in mid-March 2026, according to rights groups. Sources say his arrest followed online posts criticizing security checkpoints, including a message to a Telegram channel complaining about the traffic jams they caused. Iran Human Rights Society reports that Basij forces detained him as he passed through a checkpoint, and that he was shot in the right shin after his first round of interrogation. He was later transferred to Suite 35 of Ghezel Hesar Prison in Karaj with a leg wound, and former inmates say he struggled to get adequate medical care there. He was reportedly accused of espionage during interrogation, but no formal charge has been confirmed. No trial or sentence has been reported. As of the latest report in August 2026, he was still being held.
