Afghan woman detainee sentenced to five years in Evin

Homaira Sharifi, an Afghan national detained in the January protests and held in Evin's women's ward, was notified of a five-year prison sentence amid deteriorating physical and mental health and lack of adequate medical care, Hengaw reported on 4 June.
