Alireza Sepahi Badjani, 25, was hanged in Isfahan Central (Dastgerd) Prison on 5 October 2026, his lawyers and the judiciary's Mizan agency reported. He was a defendant in the "Alikhani Square" case; his family was summoned to the prison on 4 October, and Isfahan Revolutionary Court Branch 2 had dismissed his retrial application.
