Abolfazl Ebrahimi remains on death row in Isfahan Central Prison in the "Alikhani Square" case. HRANA reported on 5 October 2026 that 14 death sentences in this case were upheld, and on that day two co-defendants (Alireza Sepahi and Alireza Raisi) were executed; seven defendants in the case have now been executed.
