Mani Rahmani

Mani Rahmani worked as a barber. According to people close to him, he was detained in the city center on January 22, 2026 (2 Bahman 1404) by forces affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as he was walking home from work. His family searched for him for about six days and found where he was being held with help from acquaintances in the police. He was released after the family signed a written pledge that he would stay out of the city center. Relatives said he had been severely beaten in detention, with injuries across his body. Fearing consequences, the family did not take him to a hospital. A doctor friend treated him at home instead, and he relied on strong painkillers as his condition worsened. On March 8 (17 Esfand), his severe headaches and dizziness intensified, and the family took him to a hospital. To avoid problems, they told staff he had taken the wrong medication. According to the family, he did not receive timely care and fell into a coma. He was moved by ambulance to a medical center in Qazvin province, where he went into cardiac arrest and died despite hours of CPR. He was buried on March 9, 2026 (18 Esfand 1404). After his death, IRGC members reportedly contacted the family asking to hold a ceremony and present him as a Basij member. The family refused.

در تاریخ ۱۷ اسفندماه، سردردها و سرگیجه‌های شدید ایشان افزایش یافت و ناچار شدیم وی را به بیمارستان منتقل کنیم. برای جلوگیری از بروز مشکلات احتمالی، به کادر درمان اعلام کردیم که داروی نامناسب مصرف کرده است تا روند درمان آغاز شود. اما متأسفانه، بنا بر برداشت و مشاهدات خانواده، رسیدگی پزشکی لازم به موقع انجام نشد و ایشان به کما رفتند. پس از وخامت وضعیت، با آمبولانس به یکی از مراکز درمانی استان قزوین منتقل شدند. با وجود تلاش پزشکان و انجام عملیات احیای قلبی-ریوی (CPR) به مدت چند ساعت، ایشان دچار ایست قلبی شدند و جان خود را از دست دادند. پیکر ایشان در تاریخ ۱۸ اسفند ۱۴۰۴ به خاک سپرده شد. پس از درگذشت ایشان، افرادی از نیروهای سپاه با خانواده تماس گرفته و درخواست کردند که اجازه داده شود برای وی مراسمی برگزار و ایشان به عنوان بسیجی معرفی شوند اما خانواده با این درخواست مخالفت کردند.
