He was with his brother on the way back to their home when targeted by direct gunfire from government forces. Son of Abdolhamid Molaei, a known Sunni figure in Larestan. Government authorities warned the family not to hand over his body unless they repeat the government narrative claiming Khaled was killed by protesters.
