The Iran Massacre · کشتار دی ۱۴۰۴
Fact sheet · as of 30 October 2026 · theiranmassacre.com
These are documented records, not final death tolls. They change as we verify more names. Tier A: 1,679 · B: 3,321 · C: 575 · D (not yet confirmed): 1,683.
How we count
This archive does not produce its own death toll. It brings together the lists published by human rights organisations and news outlets, matches the same person across those lists, and shows for every name which sources recorded it.
Every name has at least one source. A name counts as confirmed when a trusted human rights list or news report names the person; names from AI lists or the government’s list never count as confirmation.
How to cite
According to The Iran Massacre archive, 7,258 people had been documented by name as of 30 October 2026. (theiranmassacre.com/method)
