What happened
An 18-year-old teenager, Iman Farai, was severely beaten by 8 regime agents on January 11, 2026 (22 Dey 1404) while setting fire to a banner on Boroujerdi Bridge in the Afsariyeh intersection. His jaw was broken in two places and his head was fractured. His eyes were also injured. The agents then poured a substance down his throat. A few days later, on January 16, 2026 (27 Dey 1404), Iman suffered cardiac arrest and died. His funeral was held in Bazneh, Arak, but his body was buried in Behesht-e Zahra, Tehran.
