Their story

Davood Ahmadzadeh, 30, was killed in the Marlik area of Karaj, Alborz province, on Thursday, 8 January 2026 (18 Dey 1404), during nationwide anti-government protests. Iran International’s memorial project and Iran Human Rights (IHRNGO) both report his death. The Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA) also lists him among protesters killed and classifies his case as confirmed. HRANA’s record cites as its first source the list of names published by Iran’s state news agency IRNA and the President’s Office, and it gives no location or date. The circumstances of his death have not been made public.
